Making a difference for local children and young people
Have you ever thought that it would be good if there was more for
children and young people to do locally?
Over the last few weeks Connecting Neighbourhoods CIC have been trying
to give the local children some exciting and entertaining activities with our ‘Up
Your Street’ art and play sessions. The
children certainly seem to have had lots of fun and we have enjoyed working
with them! Whilst we've been working with the children, they keep
asking when we are coming back.
So - what can be done to keep the youngsters happy and occupied this
summer? One idea we have needs a few parents to join us to set up an
activities club. This can be once a week after school or on Saturday and
also during the holidays. We can help you to set up the club, look for
some funding to get it going and work alongside you to help get it established.
